A Jungle Safari is coming to Biggs Park Mall from April 22 – April 26! The event is free to see, and you’ll know it’s arrived when you see the big red white and blue tent. You can have your photo taken with the animals, and there will also be camel and pony rides.
In May, Biggs Park Mall will hold a Paint for Purpose event and donate the proceeds to UNCP CARE Center. The event will take place on May 7 from 5-7P, and Thomas Ard will instruct the class. Beverages and hors d’oeuvres will be provided, and only 20 spots are available, so be sure to call (910) 740-3030 to sign up today!
The event costs $35 to participate, and it includes art supplies, instruction and you’ll be contributing to a local non-profit. A great, fun night out for all!

The WKML 95.7 Today’s Country Singer Songwriter Showcase event will be held this weekend – Saturday, April 18 at 7P at the Carolina Civic Center in Lumberton. This event, sponsored by Biggs Park Mall, features singers like Jason Matthews, Jimmy Robbins and Johnny Bulford.
Come have breakfast at Biggs Park Mall on April 21 at 8A. Dr. Kailash Chandwani will be talking about pain management. The free breakfast event will be held next to JC Penney inside Biggs Park Mall.
In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Older Americans Act, the Lumber River Area Agency on Aging invites you to come and explore services for older adults in Robeson County. They are holding their first Annual Aging Awareness Event on Tuesday, May 19 from 10A – 2P.
A United Way Fundraiser Hot Dog Sale will be held on April 24, 2015 from 11A – 3P. This event will take place at JCPenney, and all proceeds go to United Way of Robeson County.
Smart Start Day will be on April 11, 2015 from 10A – 1P – that’s this Saturday! You can come celebrate the Week of the Young Child with this event that is for the whole family! Children, parents, grandparents, caregivers, and teachers are invited. There will be entertainment, children’s activities, food, resources for parents and much more. No registration is required, and admission if FREE!

The United Way of Robeson County is holding an Annual Day of Caring and 15 Days of Caring events around the county. You can participate by dropping off food, joining the knit-in event, bringing your children to the children’s activities, and donating gently used children’s books.

Show you care by donating a book during the United Way of Robeson County Days of Caring from April 13-23. Donations of gently used children’s books will be accepted at all Robeson County Public Libraries and Robeson Community College.
