Biggs Park Mall is very pleased to announce that Southeastern Regional Medical Center has chosen to invest $7 million into turning the former Winn Dixie building into a medical mall. The space will include:
- Duke Medicine
- Southeastern Express Lab
- An urgent care center
- A pharmacy and pharmacy clinic
- A weight management clinic
- A diabetes clinic
- Administrative office space for Southeastern Regional Medical Center’s Physician Services and Community Health Services departments

This project is expected to begin in mid-August and will take approximately 2 years to complete. The space will provide an alternative to the emergency room for local residents, and several jobs are expected to be created as a part of the expansion.
